  • Using your Search Results Dashboard, you can review profiles, case studies, competencies and recent performance data and decide if you would like to contact any of them for a quote

How We Define Competency

Builders and Tradespeople:

  • Willing and able to work for you with sufficient capacity and resources
  • Suitably qualified and experienced
  • Whose competencies match your project's requirements
  • Who maintain adequate insurances
  • Who are prepared to work to and be monitored against our Code of Conduct
  • Confident enough in their ability to allow Customer's Reviews to form the basis of their ranking

What We Do

Vet builders and tradespeople by:

  • Setting minimum requirements for membership including the provision of three verifiable case studies
  • Contacting previous customers
  • Reviewing details submitted to Companies House (registered companies only)
  • Requesting insurance details
  • Additional checks are undertaken on a case by case basis as part of the application process
  • Advice and guidance:

    • Our systems automate and guide you through the process of finding a builder or tradesperson
    • We provide general advice and guidance

    We make builders and tradespeople accountable for their actions by:

    • Defining and monitoring good practice through our Code of Conduct
    • Providing and managing a simple yet effective system for customer feedback
    • Having member's performance form the basis of their ranking for customer searches
    • Reserving the right to withdraw membership where appropriate

    We support your local community by:

    • Donating 25% of our profit to locally based non-profit making community organizations
